As a teacher of literature, I feel that my students cannot really understand the value of what they read until they start trying themselves at writing. In creating this blog, my aim is to offer them some space where they can share their own personal creative response to the texts we read and discuss in class. It should be noted that most of my students do not speak English as their first language. Yet, they are capable of writing amazing stories and poems. Because they are amazing students.
